mosty in the vilage of Tarnac.
Thy have been accused of "criminal ssociationor the
puposes of terrorist activiy" on the grounds that they
were to have particpated in the sabotage of overhead
electrical lines on Frances national railways. Although
ony scant circumstantial evidence has been presented
against the nine, the French Interior Minister has pubÂ
licaly ssociated them with the emergent threat of an
"ultra-lt" movement, taking care to single out this
book, described as a "manua

or terrorism, " which they
